Unusual Behaviour

Great Black-backed Gull Larus marinus with hanging wings.
      When the Great Black-backed Gull in the pictures rests or walks around it always does so with hanging wings. Nevertheless it can fly perfectly. I have seen this particular individual for over ten winters and always with it's characteristic hanging wings. What causes this behaviour is a mystery.
