19 Steppe Curlews Numenius arquata suschkini  in The Netherlands

On 6th May 2010 I found a group of 8 recently arrived Steppe Curlews Numenius arquata suschkini

(Neumann, 1929; type locality: Dagana,Senegal).

The pale and small birds foraged on the higher, vegetated section of the mudflats.
